Ooops FAM did it again!
Case 1
27 March 2008 (The Star)
Delayed action by the FA of Malaysia (FAM) disciplinary board has left both Terengganu and Perak seeing red ahead of their FA Cup second-round second-leg matches today (27 March). The disciplinary board met on March 13 but they only informed the teams in a fax on Tuesday (25 March) of additional punishments on players who were red-carded in Super League matches last year.
Case 2
27 March 2008 (The Star)
Four Selangor players are in hot water and may face the wrath of the FAM for leaving camp before final session of a three-day clinic for strikers conducted by Liverpool legend Ian Rush on Wednesday (26 March). They left the camp prematurely to train with the Selangor team, who have a FA Cup second-round second-leg match against Perak tonight (27 March).
Well, well. No wonder Malaysia's FIFA ranking dropped to 165 last February.
Looking at these two cases, I personally think that it all can be traced back to FAM and its 'efficient' management with respect to game-scheduling and instilling the appropriate focus and goals in the minds of players, coaches and other parties who are directly involved in improving the Malaysian football scene.
Notes:-
- Ooohhh...purak-purak bingung ya, Cik Dollah? Or maybe you were just being REAL?
- And you, my dear! Yes YOU up there! Stop that devilish grin on your face. We don't want to see you bringing in Chelsea (and God knows which teams are next) to belasah Malaysia again! Start weeding out the roots of the problems, savvy? Kerja! Kerja!
